Ed Griego has 48+ years of experience is the insurance industry, beginning his career in 1972 operating the insurance department of a local bank agency.  In 1975 he and his wife Karen established Griego Insurance Agency knowing that their hometown of Trinidad was the ideal place to live and nurture a successful business. Ed’s primary concentration and focus is commercial lines and related coverages, as well as major medical insurance and life insurance. Ed is an ACA Certified Broker (Affordable Care Act).


As co-owner of Greigo Insurance, Karen has serviced clients for over 45 years. Born and raised in Trinidad Karen Graduated from Trinidad High School and attended Trinidad State Junior College.  Karen has held many civic positions within the community including : Founding member of Trinidad Tourism Board, Board member Chamber of Commerce, Member of Trinidad State Junior College Business Advisory Council. Karen Currently serves as the current council person and mayor pro term, City of Trinidad.

Kathleen has been with the agency for 22 years as a licensed agent. She attended the University of Colorado majoring in accounting. She is actively involved in the community serving as president of the Mt. San Rafael Hospital Board, member of the Trinidad State Junior College Education Foundation, and board member of the Las Animas County Goree Scholarship board. She specializes in personal lines policies and life and health coverages.
